What We Do
Increasing Baltimore's urban tree canopy
As a grassroots initiative that has grown into a citywide solution, the Baltimore Tree Trust addresses tree inequality and the effects of climate change throughout Baltimore City. Our efforts are evident across the city’s 250 vibrant neighborhoods where we are working to connect the tree canopy across all communities. Through our community-focused urban forestry practices, we are increasing Baltimore’s urban tree canopy, creating career pathways for future urban foresters, and nurturing the next generation of tree stewards. Discover how you can get involved by exploring our programs listed below.
